Lace shorts

 

I totes have a wardrobe block going on at the moment. I think i’m thrown off by the strange weather (35C, thunderstorms, rain, wind…) and the fact that I hate everything in my wardrobe right now. Plus I have to dress for work, where I’m doing a lot of heavy lifting and running about. I have to keep comfy, and fashion is the last thing on my mind. Obvs this is not a work outfit. Times like these I wish I had a desk job.

 

I bought the shorts in the sales from Topshop. I’ve wanted these for aaaages. The colour is lovely, and I adore the cut. The fabric is not really to my taste, but I can live with that. Everything else in these photos is a little bit old (shh…), but I’m not loving the high street right now so I have nothing else to wear. I had a look around today, and after fighting my way through the jungle which is the sale rails (gross… have you seen Zara?!) even the newness looked boring. I guess it’s good for my bank account, but my wardrobe is crying itself to sleep. I am on the lookout for a pair or two of summer trousers though.
